This position requires kindness, compassion toward others and working as part of a team.
Job responsibilities include (but not limited to):
Checking in/out patients Scanning Answering telephone and taking detailed messages Making & Confirming appointments Scheduling surgical appointments Must be willing to travel to our Port Jefferson Station office office when needed to cover staff Job skills include:
Needs to be organized Quick & accurate typing, cannot hunt and peck on the keyboard Computer literate - knowledge of copy/paste saving a document to your desktop and basic computer skills Multitasking EPIC and ADS a plus Work
Experience:
At least one year medical receptionist experience Salary commensurate with experience Education:
High School Diploma, Hunter Business School or equivalent
