The campus is comprised of 296-bed not-for-profit community hospital; a 240-bed nursing and rehabilitation care center; and a 60,000 square foot medical office building.

Clerical Assistant
Responsibilities:
Meeting, greeting, and orienting patients to floor Answering questions from patients and/or family members or redirects to appropriate care team member for response Transcribes orders; prepares pt.
chart on admission; ensures that chart is maintained appropriately; dismantles chart upon discharge; prepares diet & census sheets; rewrites medex' once a week; prepares venipuncture list; assists in coordinating and compiling statistics as needed Performs patient and specimen transport duties Assists the care team with the discharge process Answers telephones in a professional manner; distributes mail
Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED equivalent required Minimum of 1 year previous experience in a doctor's office or health care facility Must be computer literate and proficient in word processing.
