Bookkeeper - Five years of bookkeeping experience required
Our client, a not for profit organization in Suffolk County, is hiring a full charge bookkeeper on a temp to hire basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to grow into a Controller position. The ideal candidate must have experience working in a not profit and must be comfortable working in an office where there are dogs and cats.
Responsibilities:
Processing TransactionsReconcile paymentsProcessing and recording Donations from sources like Facebook, PayPal, Venmo accountsPosting payroll entries, not processing payrollSetting up vendor accountsTracking/recording/processing payments to Trainers, handlers.
