We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Barista to join our team.
As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee and tea beverages to our customers.
Your role will also involve providing excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and ensuring the overall satisfaction of our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a wide range of coffee and tea beverages, including espresso, cappuccinos, lattes, and more - Take customer orders accurately and efficiently - Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and making recommendations - Operate cash register and handle cash transactions with accuracy - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area - Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure food safety standards are met - Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours Skills:
- Previous experience in the food industry or as a Barista is preferred - Strong math skills for cash handling and order processing - Familiarity with Aloha POS system is a plus - Excellent sales skills to upsell products and promote specials - Ability to operate a cash register and handle cash transactions accurately - Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating change - Knowledge of different coffee brewing methods and techniques - Strong attention to detail for preparing beverages according to customer preferences - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude - Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members Join our team as a Barista and showcase your passion for coffee while providing exceptional service to our valued customers.
