We are seeking a talented and innovative Permanent Design Engineer to join our dynamic team.
This is a unique opportunity to utilize your technical skills and creativity in developing and improving our cutting-edge products.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in engineering with a focus on design, a strong understanding of CAD, Solidworks, and other design software, as well as a proven track record in product development.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Design Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include:
1.
Utilizing CAD and Solidworks to design, model, and simulate product concepts.
2.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet customer requirements and company standards.
3.
Developing and implementing design strategies to enhance product performance and manufacturability.
4.
Reviewing and analyzing specifications, sketches, drawings, ideas, and related data to assess factors affecting product designs and the procedures and instructions to be followed.
5.
Conducting design validations and testing to ensure quality and functionality.
6.
Creating detailed manufacturing drawings and BOMs.
7.
Participating in design reviews and providing constructive feedback.
8.
Assisting in the resolution of design-related issues that may arise during the manufacturing process.
9.
Keeping up-to-date with the latest design trends, techniques, and technologies.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following
Qualifications:
1.
A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a design engineering role, preferably within the engineering industry.
3.
Proficiency in CAD, Solidworks, and other relevant design software.
4.
Strong knowledge of product design, manufacturing processes, and material properties.
5.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
6.
Ability to work effectively in a team setting, as well as independently.
7.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
8.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
9.
A proactive approach and the ability to take initiative and work with minimal supervision.
